Ben Walsh MSci PhD MRSC
Ben joined us in 2005 from Nottingham University, where he was Business Science Fellow involved with collaboration between industry and academia. He has initiated and managed projects of varying size and complexity with new industrial clients.
Ben's PhD ('Automated Reactions in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide') followed on from his combined Bachelor/Masters degree in Chemistry. His work at Oakdene Hollins draws on his knowledge of both remanufacturing and nano-technology.
Nick Morley MA MPhil MBA
After reading chemistry at Cambridge and gaining a masters degree in polymer chemistry at Bradford, Nick worked at Courtaulds Coatings before moving to Burmah Castrol plc, becoming a divisional manager of Industrial Adhesives Ltd.
As a development director at Shanks plc with an MBA from Manchester he was responsible for investment in innovative chemical waste treatment and recycling technologies.
He has been a Director of Oakdene Hollins since 1994.
Trevor Crichton PhD MRSC CChem FIMF MInstCorr
With an MSc in Physical Chemistry and a PhD in Industrial Metallurgy, both from Birmingham University, Trevor joined Oakdene Hollins Ltd in November 2005.
He previously worked for Gillette UK as a staff scientist engaged in research at the forefront of technology, eg reduced energy and utility consumption by the use of lasers and plasmas for non-solvent removal of contamination and surface modification of fragile components.
Trevor has 30 years' experience as a research and manufacturing applied electrochemist.
