Oakdene Hollins has prepared a peer-reviewed report on behalf of the UK Government on the viability of deposit return systems in the UK.
The report highlights the advantages of using deposit refund systems to reduce litter and increase the rate of recycling for small plastic bottles and cans. It rejects the use of deposit refund systems to encourage the use of refillable bottles. |
