  The waste theme of the Technology Programme is committing £30million over two years to waste management and minimization in industry and commerce. This funding is provided by the Business Resource Efficiency and Waste (BREW) programme and is targeted at:
  Wastes from industry and commerce
  Technologies that will help meet the requirements of the Landfill Directive
  Technologies that minimize the production or impact of hazardous wastes
  Remediation of contaminated land
  Technologies that generally improve resource efficiency in industry
